Health data is a special category of personal data. It is processed solely upon your explicit request and consent, for the purpose of planning your treatment organization.
Purposes and Legal Basis
Your personal data is processed to evaluate your request, present suitable treatment or consultancy options, organize matters with the relevant healthcare institutions and physicians, arrange accommodation and transfers, and maintain contact after treatment.
Legal basis: your explicit consent, the necessity of processing for the conclusion or performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest.
Sharing
Your data is shared only to the extent required by your request and for that purpose: with the hospital, clinic and physicians where your treatment is planned, with accommodation and transfer providers, and with competent public authorities where legally required. Your data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.
Transfers abroad take place only where your treatment organization requires it, and with your explicit consent.
Retention
Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data; to request its correction, deletion or anonymization; to object to processing; and to withdraw the consent you have given.
